The NKBA Gala

By: Bella Evans

The National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) is a non-profit design chapter leading the industry on kitchen and bath design for over 40 years. This association exists to educate and enhance the success of kitchen and bath designers, while ensuring the quality and safety standards of their designs. To become a member, designers must complete a written examination and be approved by the board members, this way, consumers can be sure that their designer has been independently evaluated and is following NKBA guidelines.

Every year, the National Kitchen and Bath Association holds a large event for those involved in the chapter, where NKBA designers can send in their latest and greatest projects to be judged on the aesthetics of their design, as well as the technical aspects. During the Gala, awards are presented to those who have gone above and beyond with their designs and have done exceptionally well as an NKBA member.

This year, one of our very own designers, Justine Wiggins, was awarded two 1st place awards, for the categories "small/medium kitchen" and "large bathroom." In both of these designs, you can see beautiful cabinetry, hardware, flooring and tiles. Justine truly went above and beyond to ensure she met every one of her client's needs. Well done and Congratulations Justine!
